The key responsibilities will be:

 

  • Develop full-stack software for Priberam’s line of products;
  • Develop code in C# and Python;
  • Database design and programming;
  • Develop multiplatform applications (Windows/Linux) following a micro-services architecture (Docker, Kubernetes);

UX / UI Designer

Priberam is looking for a talented UX/UI designer to improve and scale two new software platforms:

The ideal candidate should have the following skills:

 

  • 1 to 2 years of experience as UX / UI Designer;
  • Experience conducting user testing on different target groups and applying these insights to develop a better product to our customers;
  • Extend functional requirements by defining usability requirements;
  • The ability to translate user journeys into wireframes and building functional mockups with tools like Adobe XD, Sketch or Figma;
  • An ability to combine design guidelines with creative aesthetic to deliver visually pleasing mock ups as demonstrated by portfolio of prior work;
  • Collaborate with the development team to facilitate their vision in the definition of requirements and ensure that the solution that is being conceptualized is user oriented, aligned to the needs and technically feasible;
  • Definition of several metrics to better evaluate customer satisfaction (eg. CSAT, SUS);
  • Good English communication skills are needed.

Research Scientist

NLP/ML Researcher position at Priberam Labs, in Lisbon, Portugal

Priberam is hiring for a senior research position in NLP and ML. Priberam (https://labs.priberam.com) is a highly-technological company based in Lisbon, Portugal.   • Knowledge of deep learning architectures and frameworks (PyTorch, Tensorflow).
  • Very good communication skills.

Research Internships

Priberam is offering short-term research internships at its Labs. We are looking for people to work in our exciting projects in the areas of Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing, or to propose their own internship project.

We welcome applications from Master’s and PhD students who would like to have a short-time experience in the industry. We offer a stimulating research environment, with connections to the international ML and NLP state-of-the-art research scene.
The specific start and end dates are flexible, but we expect interns to work for about three months in a project of their choice, together with our research team. Before the internship actually starts, the intern and our research team will elaborate a research plan suitable for a 3-month duration, with concrete goals.

 

The ideal candidate is:

 

  • a Master’s or PhD student in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, Electrical Engineering, or other related field
  • someone with knowledge of Machine learning and/or Natural Language Processing
